Therapy is an investment in yourself.

The decision to go to therapy is you saying "I value myself enough to do this." Even if it doesn't feel that way in the moment, you are still making the choice to care for your own wellbeing. And that choice will affect everything else in your life.

For most people this means creating a budget for therapy. It may mean prioritizing "short term pain for long term gain," so to speak. It may mean forgoing the instant gratification of buying a new bag or those boots you've been wanting with the recognition that your emotional and relational well being are more important.

In our initial phone consultation, I'll ask you about your budget for therapy, and whether you want to do private pay or use your insurance. If you are wanting to use insurance, I would suggest checking to see what your deductible is for mental health services. Some insurance companies have really high deductibles, which means that you'd be paying basically the same amount for therapy whether or not you use insurance.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I can give you a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement for your insurance company. All insurance companies are different, so I would suggest finding out what your insurance company's policy is for out-of-network benefits.

My fee for a standard 50 minute session is $135. An initial 70 minute session is $170.
